Product Care
All of our smoked meats are shipped vacuum-sealed for freshness. If upon arrival, the packaging has lost its seal or appears loose on the meat, discard the packaging and immediately refrigerate. Call us for further instructions.

Jerky and Dried Sausage Products - An intact vacuum-sealed package of jerky will store best at room temperature. Once opened or if the package has lost its seal we recommend refrigeration to extend product freshness.

Landjager, Hot Sticks, Cowboy Jerky and Indian jerky
- These products require refrigeration upon arrival. The Landjager and Hot Sticks will store best refrigerated in a brown paper bag.

We have no control over how you store your product. Jerky will become dry, brittle, lose flavor, or grow mold depending on storage time and environment. We highly recommend that you consume your jerky within a reasonable amount of time. We will not guarantee the flavor, texture, or product freshness of our jerky after 30 days of your shipment. Thank you for your understanding.

We do not recommend that you refrigerate our meat products for periods longer than 14 days. All of our smoked meat products may be frozen for up to 6 months. Our smoked cheese may be refrigerated for up to 3 months. Our smoked fish may be refrigerated for 2 days once opened.

All of our products are fully cooked except the bacon.

Heating Instructions
Smoked Hams & Turkeys - A conventional oven is the preferred method for heating our fully cooked hams and turkeys. Preheat the oven to 325° and then heat for 10 minutes per pound. The exact weight will be labeled on the package.
